Mesa Hohokams
Incorporated in 1951, the Mesa HoHoKams are a group of civic volunteers dedicated to Major League Baseball Spring Training in Mesa and to raising funds for local charities and kids’ sports in the East Valley. The HoHoKams host MLB Spring Training for the Chicago Cubs at Sloan Park in Mesa and for the Oakland Athletics at HoHoKam Stadium in Mesa. They operate a charitable 50/50 Raffle at each Spring Training game at the stadiums, with the proceeds going to local youth organizations and charities. The HoHoKams have donated more than $1,000,000 to local charities and kids’ sports organizations since 2000.
Dobson Ranch
Dobson Ranch is a large-scale, established master planned community with over 5,000 homes in West Mesa that was developed in 1973. Dobson Ranch combines a mixture of single-family homes, condominiums and townhomes designed around a common theme – the lakes.
